On June 23rd, Ryanair has announced it will operate 29 departing flights per week from Helsinki Airport, across eight destinations, airline announces in their press release. New routes from Helsinki Airport are to London, Milan, Riga, Warsaw, Brussels, Kaunas, Paris, and Poznan. From Tampere-Pirkkala Airport, a new route to London has been announced.
Ryanair also adds one new Tampere-Pirkkala route from/to London Stansted operating 2 flights per week.

“We are delighted to expand our operations in Finland and return to Helsinki Airport with 29 departing flights per week across eight routes along with the addition of London Stansted to our Tampere-Pirkkala schedule, with 2 flights per week,” says CEO of Ryanair, Eddie Wilson.
Ryanair says in their press release that efficient operations and competitive airport charges provide the foundation from which Ryanair can deliver these eight new routes and increased connectivity to/from Finland.
"We have worked closely with airport company Finavia to secure our return here for those that live, work or wish to visit the region," says Wilson.
