In its press release, the tour operator TUI says that its selection of travel destinations will expand in the 2023 summer season.
Gorgeous Italy
Rimini in Italy is a classic beach resort where passengers are welcomed by fine sandy beaches, Italian food and wine, an interesting old town and numerous museums. For shoppers, the city offers both stylish designer stores and large shopping centres.
TUI’s second new destination in Italy is the picturesque Polignano a Mare, a small coastal town in the sunny “heel” of southern Italy. Located in Apulia, the town has been described as the most beautiful in the region.
Beautiful Greece
A new destination for TUI in Greece is Georgioupoli, a small village between Chania and Rethymno on the north coast of Crete. Here, the coast consists mainly of golden sandy beaches that stretch out for miles. The village has nice little boutiques, bakeries and cosy local tavernas.
A more peaceful and relaxed alternative to the large islands of the Greek archipelago is the Halkidiki peninsula in northeastern Greece. Viewed from the map, the peninsula has “three fingers” that protrude from the mainland, and each of them offers beautiful landscapes and magnificent beaches for holidaymakers.
