Prepare for your trip well in advance
Before you arrive at the airport, make sure that your baggage is packed properly. You can use Finavia's search engine to check which items can be packed in hand baggage and which go in the cargo hold.
You can also order your flight information from Finavia’s MyFlight service. MyFlight provides your gate number and recommendations for airport services, restaurants, and shopping. MyFlight is only available for passengers at Helsinki Airport.
Get to the airport in good time
Arrive at the airport in good time and reserve sufficient time for parking, check-in and security control. There is a separate security control line for families with children.
The best way to guarantee a parking space at Helsinki Airport is to book it in advance in the desired area. For example, the P3 building is suitable for longer parking and is a short walk from the terminal.
