The route will be flown from Paris Orly Airport once a week on Saturdays between 14 December 2024 and 8 March 2025. The route will be operated with 189-seat Boeing 737 aircraft.
"The new route is great news: we are very pleased to welcome Transavia to Kittilä Airport! Last winter was a record season for tourism in Lapland, and together with the entire tourism industry, we have a strong desire to continue this tremendous development. Regular scheduled flights are very important for this, which is why we are developing them over the long term to improve the accessibility of Finland," says Jonna Pietilä, Kittilä Airport Manager and Vice President, Lapland Airports at Finavia.
Transavia is a low-cost airline that is part of the Air France−KLM Group. The route is already the third for the airline from Paris to Finnish Lapland. Next winter, the airline will also fly to Ivalo and Rovaniemi.
